Our Slideshow - Mission Ecuador '09

Feliz Dia Padre

Sorry for the delay, internet has been sporadic. I'll try to catch you up. We had a wonderful time of worship last night (Sat). It was startling to contemplate where we really are. Being in this remote location, on a different continent, gathered with other believers, worshipping our Great God, stirred something deep. The title of our study for the week is Move- The Faith Journey. In our opening session, Matt 17:20 was referenced. It talks about having faith the size of a mustard seed and telling a mountain to move... After devotion time, as we were walking back to our beds, we noticed a dull orange glow in the dark sky. Then we heard the low rumble of Tungurahua. It was very surreal. There hasn't been a lot of activity lately, but last night we were given the chance to see it. Very captivating. Words only cheapen it. We finally had to turn in at 11, but we continued to hear (and feel) the low, steady rumble of that mighty giant. We have been reassured we are in no immediate danger. Maybe the prayers that have been prayed are being answered. Know we are praying for you back home. Keep praying, keep moving. I'll try to catch up tomorrow (Lord willing).
